And I’m very pleased, wouldn’t change a thing. But then something like this pops up and the urge to add is bigly.

This is my favorite Corolla body style (Te72 wagon notwithstanding), and it’s rarer than common decency. It’s not an SR5 which hurts, and it’s a 3-speed auto, but where else are you ever going to find one in this good of shape? NOWHERE. That’s where.
Unsurprisingly, my wife was less than supportive. I attempted to bargain (“Hey, we can use the tax return on this thing you always wanted, and I’ll use what’s left for —”). Nope. Sure I may have promised that the Lexus would end the revolving door of beaters. And yes, I don’t need it, would barely drive it, and have no room for it. Oh and we need every cent we can squeeze, what with trying to buy a house and whatnot...
But Dammit it all gimme gimme gimme!

I’ve test driven 8 Land Cruisers over the last two weeks, mainly because it’s been THIRTY months since I’ve purchased a vehicle. THIRTY! Tonight my wife basically said, I don’t know why you can’t be happy with what you have. I am, I just like switching things up. Maybe I should start an Olympics style pattern, every 4 winters, replace one vehicle, every 4 summers, replace the project. That’s something different every 24 months.
I nearly test drove a Mustang GT as well, until I looked at the back seat and knew there was no way I could contort my son back there for any length of time. But the dual Magnaflow exhaust sounded super mean.

I don’t buy cars, I just keep buying bicycles that cost thousands of dollars. As long as I ride them my wife lets me keep them.

You want a RWD V8 coupe that can actually fit people in the back, E92 M3 ;) or a nice low mileage E92 335is if you want twin turbos.

This one was cheap. 2012 with 50k on it for $15k. Sadly, I think the BMWs would be outta my price range. I’m guessing the Taco stays put, which isn’t a bad thing.

That’s not a bad idea, I mean it’s a practical car! Or you could pick up an old E30 wagon
